The Westerville Education Association honored educators at its annual Spring Reception on Wednesday, recognizing the 2025-26 Educators of the Year and celebrating the 28 educators who have retired this year or will retire this spring.

Sarah McPeak, a music teacher at Blendon Middle School; Ricky Robbins, a business teacher at Westerville South High School; and Jill McMasters, a math teacher with the Educational Options for Success program at the Academic Enrichment Center, have been honored as the Westerville Education Foundation’s April Teachers of the Month.

The sixth-graders at Westerville City Schools’ middle schools were issued a challenge: create a container to ship a single Pringles potato chip to the district’s office in the Early Learning Center.

Five Westerville City Schools seventh-graders are recipients of a partial scholarship to attend the Be WISE Camp at Muskingum University in New Concord this summer.
