Luke D’Silva, a seventh-grader at Walnut Springs Middle School, took the top spot in the school’s Spelling Bee on Monday, earning a chance to compete at the Columbus Blue Jackets Regional Bee at Nationwide Arena.

A new student-operated business learning lab at Westerville South High School, equipment to help build a hands-on computer science lab at Genoa Middle School and the relaunch of the MODEL Mentor program across the District’s middle schools are among the 17 proposals awarded a 2025 Fall Grant from the Westerville Education Foundation (WEF). 

Westerville City Schools’ Intra-District Open Enrollment (IDOE) program is available to families that reside and are enrolled full-time in Westerville City Schools.
